Research On Vocational Education Theories Of Zhuang Zexuan

Zhuang Zexuan was a famous educator in the RePublic of China time.He has made a lot of outstanding contributions in several fields of the education.In all his lifetime,he was engaged in the Comparison Education research.He founded the first special education development facility in Zhongshan University,that is the Pedagogy Research Institute,and organized the magazine" Education Research".His writings are very rich,and he has made a big influence for the educational reform.He is one of drafters for Wuxu Educational System, and also has outstanding contributions in Pedagogy,Psychology,Comparative Pedagogy and Mass Education,especially in Vocational Education.Zhuang Zexuan is one of the Pioneer of Vocational Education.In the preliminary advocate time,he joins in the Vocational Education Tide positively,introduceing the overseas advanced Vocational Education Theory,initiateing the vocational guidance positively.As the development of his theory and the Vocational Education itself,unifing the Chinese and Foreign Vocational Education Theory and the Chinese Actual National Condition,Zhuang Zexuan proposed the way to develop our vocational education and corrected people's wrong idea and behavior.Finally he published his"Vocational Eucation"and"Vocational Education Reasonable Argument"in 1929 and in 1933 separately,which promoted the development of our Vocational Education Science.And "Vocational Education" is the first compiles voluntarily book writted by our Chinesee people,which changed the time that the theory depended on introducting or translating the foreign theory.It was the first step of Chinese Indigenization Campaign of vocational education.In some sense,the two books Contained all of the vocational education principle of that time.In fact,his contribution to the vocational education not only limited in the education theory research aspect,but also in the advocating the Vocational Guidance, carring out the vocational guidance vigorously in the Tsinghua University,which was the beginning of guidancing university career.In 1925,he published "Vocational Guidance Experiment",which was the template for the other universitys.The whole text contains three parts:Part one,Zhuang Zexuan's life,and based on this,elaborat the process of his thought.Part tow,Take the historical data as the basis, elaborated the content of his vocational education thought.The paper has made the concrete concrete elaboration and the brief narration mainly form his idea about the vocational education meaning,the goal,the content,the method,the implementation as well as the vocational guidance aspect.Part three,The paper made some appraisal about his vocational education thought,pointing out its characteristic,the historical contribution and the limitation.
