In the school field, the relationship between teachers and students is the most important and active system of interpersonal relationships, which directly influences and decides the background and situation of educational movement. Meanwhile, it also affects the final educational effect. Nowadays, while the educational reform is being deeply pushed on and the quality education is being overall carried out, the traditional relationship between teachers and students has become a big obstacle during the development of education. So, it's high time that we examined it closely again. The present thesis analyzes the malpractice and reasons of the relationship between teachers and students in the current school field from the perspective of Bourdieu's Field Theory. On the basis of this, we explore the strategies for building good relationship between teachers and students in the new situation. The present thesis is made up of four parts.The first part is the introduction. Firstly, we briefly introduce the reasons we choose the relationship between teachers and students as our research target. Then we summarize the previous researches about the educational field and find out the shortcomings of these researches. At last, the thinking that we study the relationship between teachers and students from the perspective of school field is put forward.The second part is the explanation of school field. In this part, we explain Bourdieu's field theory, educational field and school field respectively, which are the basis of theories for the following research. At the same time, this part also explains the connection between the shool field and the relationship between teachers and students, pointing out a new analytical framework.The third part is the field analysis of current relationship of teachers and students. Firstly, we decribe some malpractice in the current relationship between teachers and students, such as the tendency of utilitarianism during the relationship of teaching and studying, the relationship between master and servant on ethics and morality, nominal relationship on law and indeffierence on feeling, ect. Then, we analyze the reasons of these malpractice with the field theory, pointing out that the difference between the cultural capital owned by teachers and students, the difference of the right of discourse, unequality of right distribution and interval of school space. All these are the main reasons for the dissimilation of the relationship between teachers and students.The fourth part is the field construction of good relationship between teachers and students. On the one hand, we explain "what' s the good relationship" and we think democracy and harmony is the basic characteristics of good relationship between teachers and students; on the other hand, we put forward some strategies for the construction of good relationship between teachers and students, responding to the analysis in part three. These strategies are mainly useful for the teachers, specifically, They include: forming the habitus of respecting and accepting students; giving the discourse right back to students; listening to every student during the communication; improving the "space" comsciousness while dealing with the relationship between teachers and students.To sum up, the relationship between teachers and students is an eternal topic in the educational theories. We can get different results from different perspectives of theories. We believe that it is meaningful for enriching the research content of the relationship between teachers and students. Meanwhile, it's necessary to guide the association between teachers and students in education practice.
