Biology is a science based on experiment; biological research is based on experiment too. Experiment lesson is basic and important in biological teaching in junior school, which has the advantage of its unique in cultivating the students'scientific literacy. We can cultivate the students'comprehensive abilities of many aspects in experiment lessons, such as practical ability, thinking ability and ability to solve problems in real life and so on. So, we should pay specially attention to the experiment lessons in our teaching in Junior Schools.21st century is a high-tech time: knowledge and technology in several of fields have developed over time to update. Only will the students master the scientific methods to explore, can they conform to today's knowledge-based economy development and the requirements of the time. So, during the New Curriculum Reform, implementing the conception of exploratory and cultivating the students'exploratory ability in teaching is particularly important.Since the implementation of the New Curriculum Reform, the importance of experiment lesson and the conception of exploratory have been gradually recognized by the majority of teachers. But in the current junior school biology textbooks, the inquiry experiments have just taken a small part of the total; most of the experiments are still lecture experiments and verification experiments, which are lake of inspirational and exploratory. It is too hard to change all the lecture experiments and verification experiments into inquiry experiments in theory, as well as in practice. The most direct feasible, the most effective thing we should do is to penetrate the conception of exploratory into the different types of experiments, to tap the latent exploratory in the lecture experiments and verification experiments, and to design the inquiry experimental model.It has been fully proved in many teaching practice, that using inquiry experiments is the only way to display and make use of the creativity and exploratory of the experiment lessons. What's more, it is the best way to cultivate the students'practical ability, thinking ability and other scientific literacy.This paper introduced the design of the biological experimental model in junior schools and ways to achieve the models based on the concept of exploratory. The author designed three experimental models corresponding with the three types of experiments, analyzed the way to penetrate the conception of exploratory into the different types of experiments, and analyzed the problems in model construction for the three different types of experiments. What's more, the author analyzed the application of the conception of exploratory in model construction and the existent problems in model construction. Most of all, the author tried to connect theory and practice, and help the teachers to exert their own creativity so as to carry out experiments under the conception of exploratory.
