As people know more the importance of the education and the advance of education reform , development of teachers prefession has been a issue which draws more attention from the society.the high qulified education that people expect depends on the high leveled teachers.the high leveled teachers should not only has knowledge and learning,but also has their virtue ,ideal and pursuit for their prefession.they are not only men who have much learnig but also men who study and inovate themselves in all their life.they are experts in their subjects and experts in education.but all the above that focuses on one point is , development of teachers profession .The new course reform on basic education challenges the teachers education concept and teaching behavior ,it also requires higher standard for them which makes the inchoative course of teachers prefession a foucus of theory reasearch and education reform.the verge between tradational teaching subjects broke.teaching and the social life close more which makes teachers facing new chanllenges on his prefession and sprit. Teachers are not only responsible for teaching knowledge but also responsilbe for improving students development of spirit and mind. They cultivate their intellgence and develop their personality as well. Whether the reform on new course can achieve its goals mainly depends on whether we have high qualified profesional teachers. Therefore the state has quickened the steps of the teachers education aiming to provide guarantee for the new course reform.shandong is a big province on its economy, population and education in the recent years ,especially from the reform of the new course. And what changes have taken place on the primary and middle school teachers ,what is the current situation ,and how to bulid a high qualified ,increative teachers troop with suitable age to meet the tactic goal of quality education and be an strong province in intellegence has become an important task.Through collecting material and some comprehensive information on education development in shandong, and after classifieing and analysing the dada ,I get the reliable data on primary and middle school teachers development of their profession in this paper.And after analysing the teachers diplomas ,ages ,ranks and scicence research ,I find that genearlly, teachers need to improve the level of their diploma,and there is a big gap between teachers educational level in the east and west .teachers ages frame is not rational;educaiton lack outlay and teachers lack continous education ect.Contraposing these problems mentioned above I put forward a suggestion that we should enhence the development of teachers prefession.
