Our country's “Elementary School Teachers' Professional Standards(trial)has clearly clarified the qualified primary school teachers' professional concept which including “Teachers Virtue in advance”,“Students Essence”,“Ability Priority” and “Lifelong Learning”.Those who major in primary school professional education will be the potential teachers,and their understandings and cognitions about the concept of teachers' professional development will directly affect the implementation of teachers' professional standards and the expansion of the professional team of teachers.Focus on majors of Primary Education,this study is to investigate the students' recognition of “Elementary School Teachers' Professional Standards(trial)",analyze the factors that affect the teachers' professional ideas and put forward suggestions and improvement strategies for reference based on the analysis.Questionnaire and interview methods are used in the research.According to the “Elementary School Teachers' Professional Standards(trial)" and its proposed four dimensions “Teachers Virtue in advance”,“Students Essence”,“Ability Priority” and “Lifelong Learning”,the questionnaire “on The Primary Education Students' Degree Of Identity For The Teachers' Profession Concept” is compiled.Part of the students in Hainan Normal University majored in elementary education are involved in the investigation.The study found that although the potential teachers who major in primary education showed some perception about the teachers' professional development,there are still a certain progress space.They have the highest recognition about the “lifelong learning”,the second is “Ability Priority” and “Teachers Virtue in advance”,the lowest is “Students Essence”.Through the differential detection,characters of different subjects,different grades,different practice time and the incentive for teachers' professional idea are analyzed and we found that the sexuality conversion majors or not,the one-child or not and students from different places have significant correlation with their recognition about the “Teachers Virtue in advance”;In the research about their recognition towards the “Students Essence”,we found that the grade of students,the one-child or not anddifferent practice timeshave significant correlation;In theresearch about their recognition towards the “Ability Priority”,we found that the grade of students,students from different places and different practice times have significant correlation;In the research about their recognition towards the “Lifelong Learning”,we found that the sexuality of studentsand students from different places have significant correlation.Based on the interview and previous research,the author thinks that in order to improve the primary school education students' cognition about the teachers' professional development,firstly,we should focus on the concept itself and at the same time constantly explore the more advanced concept;Secondly,as colleges and universities are the most important place of teachers' pre-service training,they should enrich students awareness of the concept and improve the public awarenessas well as enlarge students' practice time,;Finally,we should pay attention to the external support,to promote the practice of professional concept of in-service teachers.
