From Chinese language teaching angle, this paper give the culture a definition: Culture is that complex whole which includes whole manufactures and spirits by man, analyzed the ordinary meaning and special meaning of culture. According to the form of the performance and the depth of the composing of culture, culture is divided into surface layer culture (material culture), intermediate culture (system culture) and first floor culture (philosophical culture), totally three layers. The paper looked into the instrumental and humanism views in the traditional Chinese language .The paper brings up a kind of new view on Chinese language course,set up three contents of the cultural education in Chinese language course: Linguistic-culture ,literary-culture and philosophical-culture. The paper analysis their target and connotation concretely. There has been an important function in culture education. Linguistic-culture and literary-culture can exalt the reading and appreciate ability of the literature . Philosophical -culture that fill the important role in society development and culture innovation ,have a parts of Chinese language course that would spread Chinese and foreign tradition culture in all times. In the teaching of linguistic-culture and literary-culture, teacher must have knowledge and ability of the language-culture and the literature-culture that had been learned before and of race, ages and applied environment The study of philosophical-culture has the contents of cultural identity, culture consciousness, multi-cultures under the multicultural background of culture and of humanistic care and cultural innovation. The teaching of linguistic-culture has been influenced under the culture of education. Teachers need have the knowledge and ability of science analysis, and of language and culture . There have three teaching method: interpretation, experience personally, comparison method that must be proper when it is used .The culture test of Chinese language must draws the elements which are beneficial to the culture test from traditional experience in Hong Kong, Taiwan and Shanghai.The test will have the main targets of student's language cultural knowledge, cultural psychology ,empathy and respect for different cultures, cultural perspicacity. A test paper will include comprises the item types such as multiple choices, fills blanks and the question and answer's. The study of cultural teaching of Chinese language faces some questions such as how to choose the contents of culture elaborately, keep students far away from the inculturation.
