We are living in a society witnessing the social transformation, which is leading the reconstruction in the social thought, ethical theory and moral practice, as well as cultural education. Our nation's transformation has been therefore pushed forward in a multi-tier and all dimensioned way. Sub-moral issue is a concept generated out of changes in the ethnic and moral sector brought by the transformation in the respects of economy, politics, and culture, etc. The research on the sub-moral issue of university students is critical for solving the sub-moral problems in the period of social transformation. The moral maturing process of university students is a two-way procedure: on the one hand, society affects the formation of morality. On the other hand, university students could also achieve the process by active learning, practice and formation the habits of morality. The research was performed through a questionnaire of university students. Issues are addressed in terms of the concept of justice and profit, value, view of love, morality and ideal. In accordance with the survey results, conclusions can be drew that the causes for the sub-morality of university students lie in the factors from students themselves, society, moral education and culture. The sub-morality of university students is characterized with natures of creation, rebellion, pragmatism, division and justice. The essay will therefore launch an analysis of the system of sub-morality of university students in an objective manner, and propose measures on how to promote the moral education of university students with the aspects of purposes, principles, measures and prospects.
