This social transformation has not only changed the material aspects of society, but also the concept of people's thinking and value choices.College students are the hope of the nation and the future of the motherland, and take on the great mission to build a harmonious socialist society. They are in the forefront of social change, most sensitive to changes brought by the social transformation. Although the mainstream of moral development is good, their moral situation don't fully meet the needs of social development. On the one hand, there are many new features in the moral development of them: self-consciousness is increasing gradually, the value of faith is more diversified, etc.; On the other hand, there are also many problems in these changes: knowing and doing are out of touch, the concept of responsibility is distorted, etc.. The emergence of these issues is not only closely related to college students, but also to the cultural background of the social transition and moral education in colleges. Therefore, only combine the requirements of social ethics code in the new period, take education measures timely,further promote the moral education concept of innovation and practice of reform in colleges,encourage students to carry out self-education and provide a sound moral environment from the family and the community to make the moral status of students in line with the needs of social development and play an active role in moral lead.This thesis is divided into three parts, the first part seeks to define the basic concepts of the social transformation and moral, clarify the general sense interactive relationship between them and highlight the important role of moral status of the student in the social transformation; the second part analyses the basic moral characteristics, the main problems and causes of college students; the third part is for the main ethical issues, from colleges, students, family and society, etc., combine with the contents of the new values of socialism with Chinese characteristics, the socialist concept of honor, the socialist core values and Chinese virtues of education, embodies the "people-oriented" concept and "humanistic care, psychological counseling", explore the new model of moral education in colleges which meet the development of the market economy to ensure that students can become a leading force for social transformation.
