Study On The Current Situation And The Countermeasures Of The Scientific Research Among Private Colleges

As one of the most important aspects of college, scientific research has made little progress among Chinese private colleges. Based on the investigation of Hunan International Economics University, the author has made a statistic of the resent scientific research situation of this college, and investigated its staff, analyzed the main problems and causations, to propose for the development of the scientific research among private colleges. This thesis is separated into four chapters.The primary contents of this part are: the background and the substance of this research; the research achievement of this field both at home and abroad; and the research methods being taken during the study procedure.The second part presents the concept of "private college" and the importance of scientific research in private colleges. After illustrate the concept of "private college", this part attempts to focus on the main three directions-the promotion of the development of the society, of the college itself and the advancement of the teachers among private colleges, discuss the significance of engaging in the scientific research.By designing and implementing the investigation, the third chapter aims to reveal the problems and the reasons relating to the current scientific research taken in private colleges. This part analysises the investigation, summarizes the problems as reflected in the investigation and interview, integrated with the epistemology and authorized data, discusses the reasons of the problems.The last chapter gives some relative solutions regarding to the problems revealed in the third part of the thesis. Based on the primary analyses above, the writer tries to search for the solutions in three directions, which are the government, the private colleges and the teachers, and finally obtains the countermeasures.
