| A teacher's teaching individuality is the embodiment of his personality in teaching.On the one hand,it contains a person's creativity and his creativity-brought uniqueness which are specifically expressed in the development and production of text and knowledge and the innovation of teaching method.On the other hand,as for its instrumental quality,it seeks the combination of teaching process and teacher's individual life practice,making a teacher realize his view on life and value,subjective interest and personal pursuit in the teaching activity.It has great realistic significance to give free rein to teacher's teaching individuality in the teaching process. First,the training of students' innovating ability and the development of students' character require teachers give play to their individuality.Second,teachers' professional development needs they release their teaching individuality. Third,teaching activity is an art the beauty of which can not be separated from the performance of teacher's teaching individuality.However,according to present fact,the performance of teacher's individuality in teaching is not so satisfactory,which is specifically displayed in the following ways:knowledge teaching depends on teaching reference book; teaching process becomes duplicating;teaching life turns to be subject-dissolving.Causes contributing to this situation are manifold:conservative cultural tradition has repressed individualism;teachers are short of individuality-projecting subjective consciousness;closed teaching system occupies individuality-producing space and so on.Among these factors, cultural influence is indirect and gradual.The possessing or no possessing of teacher's subjective consciousness is decided by the systematic environment.Therefore,closed teaching system constrains teacher's teaching individuality more directly and obviously.Systematically speaking,systemized education is the production and transition of mandatory education. "Compulsoriness" proclaims there exists a hierarchical relation between human beings and unidirectional controlling relation.Compulsory educational system mainly includes discipline regulation system,school rank system and educational power centralization system.In teaching practice, compulsory education results in the opposition and separation between teacher and textbook because it takes the advantage of the autocracy of its producing system;its unidirectional administrative management causes the loss of teacher's subjectivity and initiative;the over-materialization of its teaching aim leads to the alienation of teaching activity from teacher's life origin.Therefore,the construction of democratic knowledge supply system,the establishment of the management idea of teacher's domination of the power,and the building of human development stimulating evaluation system are undoubtedly the ideal way for teacher's teaching individuality to walk out of difficult situation. |
