New Curriculum Standards advocate that students are the subject of the learning and the development, and all learning activities are aimed at the development of students. Observational Learning activities has been regarded as one of the most effective means of passing values, attitudes, thinking and behavioral patterns, and has great influence on students' obtaining of knowledge and skills, acquisition of learning processes and methods, and formation of emotion, attitudes and values. However, observational learning has not attracted the attention of many educators, together with primary school students' age, cognitive and psychological restricts, the development of their observational learning is general in low level, and the learning effect is not prominent. This paper briefly discusses Bandura's observational learning theory, its values and limitations for primary school students by literature analysis. It also analyses and extracts observational learning's new objects and the general process in teaching and learning activities. And it finds out primary students' observational learning characteristics and influencing factors by interviews. At the same time, working together with primary school teachers not only gives me a number of live cases, but also lets me explore the organizations of different types of observational learning process and the cultivation of primary school students' observational learning quality in practice, then provides theoretical support and practical basis for primary school teachers and students to understand and use this new type of learning.
