In recent years, with the deepening of the basic education curriculum reform, research of educational teaching theory has been perfected gradually. When we are introducing the foreign theory, we also keep an eye on the innovation of the native teaching theory system, and we have had remarkable effect. The most important target of the new basic education curriculum reform is to change the situation that commonly found in the present education: the students learn passively, mechanical memorizing, and repeated excising, so as to advocate the change of learning method. Therefore, modern learning methods like autonomous learning, cooperative learning and inquiry learning are introduced into the primary school Chinese class.The primary school Chinese class is the main force of the basic education curriculum reform and to train students in independent study to explore awareness, habits, and an important vector. Therefore, in high-grades in primary school teaching of reading, we must break the traditional learning methods, learning activities for students to become masters, teachers become students of the organizers and partners, rather than the authority of those who teach. Will be autonomous, inquisitive approach to learning, such as the introduction of a variety of classroom, students actively participate in, cooperative thinking, hard-working hands, and ready to explore. However, the more school teachers can't understand the main points of the reform, for their absence of the theoretical knowledge and the restrictions of traditional ideas. And it has brought many problems.Accordingly, it is necessary to review the learning method theory, and make an analysis of the characteristics of their application mode in primary school Chinese teaching. This will be helpful for the primary school Chinese teachers to get an overall idea of the modern learning method so that they could improve teaching quality and cultivate the students' scientific literacy and innovation spirit.This thesis first introduces the study of learning method and then analyzes the characteristics, development function and their limitations of three typical learning methods: autonomous learning, cooperative learning and inquiry learning. Finally, it illustrates the application mode of the modern learning methods in primary school Chinese class by describing the teaching activity.This thesis is based on the psychology related to learning methods and pedagogy. It absorbs the former success and other teachers' experience, and finally explores the organization form of primary school Chinese teaching in years of teaching practice. According to the inner logic of different learning content of the primary school Chinese teaching syllabus and the cognitive style of the learning subject, teachers should instruct students to choose the proper learning method, so as to arouse students' learning interests and ensure students have access to autonomous learning, cooperative learning and inquiry learning, and in this process they could master a scientific ways of learning and acquire a scientific attitude.
