In the teaching activity of Chinese reading in high school, the exploration of the strategies of improving the Students'reading initiative through controlling the key link in the reading activity is an important subject that many teachers have been working on, of whom many have achieved remarkable results. The ultimate aim of this research is to make the students upgrade from"Passive Learning"to"Active Learning", to hand over the reading autonomy to the students and encourage the students to read actively by applying certain methods, thus improving their abilities of independent reading, develop their noble aesthetic ability and shape their sound personality.The main viewpoint of this research are the implementation of the strategies of improving the Students'reading initiative in the Chinese Teaching in high schools should first of all take the characteristics of reading activity itself into consideration and understand the students'psychological mechanism in reading . In the high schools, the reading teaching should start from the characteristics and requirements of the students'reading psychology on which we base our reading teaching work. Besides, the reading teaching activity should be adjusted effectively and immediately according to the students'cognitive level and their learning experience.According to this research ,Chinese teachers should start with the significance of reading teaching activity ,analyzed the current practice in the reading teaching reform, and take certain measures or get rid of the disadvantages of the reading teaching, thus arousing the students'interest in the reading activity. The key to this research is to make sure the link of"Question—Discussion—Exploration"in the reading teaching can produce some substantial results. In this process, teachers are responsible for guiding the students to question effectively and reorganize the students'questions . In the discussion, teachers and students should learn to listen to each other and respect one another. We should encourage their question-raising and creative thinking in order to get mutual improvement in the cooperation with the students. Also, we can instruct the students to put the reading methods acquired to use ,explore in person and transfer the practice result, thus making the students'reading initiative improved in the learning process, fully developing their creative thinking, meeting the reading requirements and achieving their personal attainment.
