Scholars have been studying the English vocabulary learning strategy for many years. They have obtained many achievements. As a junior middle school English teacher, I find the students with learning difficulties are the students who need to be more careful. Especially, they face many difficulties in learning English vocabularies. I want to learn what make them feel difficult .Thus, I research the English vocabulary learning strategies of students with learning difficulties in junior middle school.. In order to know about the reasons for them.The article takes measures of quantity and quality. First, the author makes a definition about the students with learning difficulties. Second, the author puts forward the English vocabulary learning strategy consists of the English vocabulary learning managing strategy, the English vocabulary learning cognitive strategy, the English vocabulary learning communication strategy. The English vocabulary learning cognitive strategy is the focus of the three. Third, according to the relevant questionnaires and the actual situation of teaching students, the author designs an English vocabulary learning strategy questionnaire. The questionnaire includes fifty options. The questionnaire surveys from three aspects above. In the questionnaire, the English vocabulary learning cognitive strategy is divided into eight aspects: :paying attention to preschool preview; using logical methods in learning vocabularies; improving the ability to apply English vocabularies; reviewing vocabularies learned timely; being good at finding and summarizing the vocabulary learning rules; learning to classify the vocabularies learned; training the ability to listening , speaking, reading and writing; using reference books, library, network.Then, the author surveys two hundred and fifty the students with learning difficulties of Mu Dan Jing.No.21Middle School. They come from Junior one, Junior two, and Junior three. In order to make the survey scientific, the author makes the individual interview at random.Through the survey, the author finds the students with learning difficulties in junior middle school use seldom the English vocabulary learning managing strategy, the English vocabulary learning cognitive strategy, the English vocabulary learning communication strategy. In particular, they are short of the ability to use logical methods in learning vocabularies. They can't correctly apply English vocabularies That is the hardest aspect for them in learning English vocabularies. In the meantime, the students with learning difficulties should strengthen the English vocabulary learning communication strategy.Finally, the author gives some advice on the students with learning difficulties and the teachers. The author thinks the students with learning difficulties should learn Vocabularies by themselves; they should know about the progress of learning vocabularies and grasp the rules of learning vocabularies; they should learn the English vocabulary learning strategy. At the same time, the teachers should give chance for the students with learning difficulties to parties the English vocabularies; the teachers should give more advice on the English vocabulary learning strategy for the students with learning difficulties. In a word, only the teachers and the students with learning difficulties work hard together, can we overcome the difficulties in learning English vocabularies.
