In the reform and implementation of the new curriculum of high school, the curriculum goals of the subject have great changes over the past. The overall objective of the new curriculum regarding high school physics explicitly propose for students "study methods of scientific inquiry, develop self-learning ability ,develop good thinking habits, solve some problems by using physics knowledge and scientific method." It referred to the good thinking habits is the demand for way of thinking of students. Now it belongs to the scope of logical thinking ability. It can clearly be seen that the new high school physics curriculum standards put logical thinking ability of students on a very important position.Logic is science about studying the form of the human mind. Formal logic is the basis of logic, which mainly studies the structure of thinking. One of the main purposes of physics teaching is the development of the thinking way of student. Therefore, knowledge of formal logic and physics knowledge is inextricably linked. Secondary school teachers learn the knowledge of formal logic to enhance their logical thinking ability, to avoid appearing logic errors in the teaching, to deepen their understanding of physics knowledge. In addition, teachers learn appropriately the knowledge of logic to bring up thinking ability of students in the teaching and to correct the error of logic of students. Students learn some logic to help to learn physics and other disciplines.The paper, As the concept knowledge of formal logic a major clue, points out the relations between teaching of physics and logic; reveals the specific links between the logic knowledge and physics knowledge; attribute logically some of the problems of teaching which carrying out easily; put up teaching strategies about bringing up logical thinking ability of students and some recommendations for students to learn. This paper aims to raise the high school physics teacher knowledge level of the logic, to provide the theoretical foundation of bringing up logical thinking ability for students. This article can also provide the material of learning logic for students who major in physics education.
