"Research" is a new teaching section in PEP,"Senior High School New Curriculum Experimental Geography Textbooks",there are 16 researches in three books.It is at the end of each chapter,after instructing the core basic knowledge,show some matter in the form of practical problems to students.The students will learn the material,take the issue as carrier,research-oriented,in the form of collaborate,doing creative learning activities,under the guidance of teachers.The students will consolidate knowledge, develop capacity and establish the correct values while researching problems.In recent years,with the developing of new geography curriculum reform,there are many articles on the new geography curriculum,but few relate to the section "Research ",and the articles only stay in the presentation and examples strategic of "Research ". Research on the effectiveness of design and implementation of "Research" is rare. "Research" is a bright spot in new textbook,but it is effectiveness in use is concerned by book writer and first-line teachers.Therefore,the analysis on the effectiveness of design and implementation of "Research",have theoretical and practical significance.This article makes the scientific process and method as a starting point of its effectiveness research,to analyze the design and implementation of "Research". Through interviews,questionnaires,list to the Experimental High School of Jilin Province and Northeast Normal University Experimental School.The result of survey is that:" Research " in teachers is in a low utilization rates;The master of students to "Research" is not good,but after study,students' ability to research,the interest in learning is greatly enhanced.Analyze the design and implementation strategies of "Research "on the basis of investigation.That "Research" should be designed closer to life,the embodiment of the process of scientific research the extent yet to be improved. In teaching,teachers attach importance to "Research" study,a clear "Research" purpose of use,the establishment of effective evaluation mechanisms,and school-based practice and so on.In some basis,this paper,make some teaching strategies based on enhance scientific research ability of students and in various aspects of scientific research.I believe in the research findings based on investigation,have a stronger teaching guide for a correct understanding of the geographical PEP " Research " and how to make more efficient use of" Research".
