The concern about the emotional factors of students is an important factor in modern education reform, and emotional education has become an integral part of the goal of the teaching aim of information technology course in secondary education. Owing to the impact of exam-oriented education, information technology course in high school attaches much importance to the training of knowledge and skills in general, while neglecting the cultivation of the emotions of the students.Considering that the teaching pattern of "emphasizing knowledge and neglecting emotion" has not yet been fundamentally changed, this paper analyzes and discuses the optimization of the teaching of high school information technology from the emotional dimension. This paper makes a research and analysis of the emotional factors which influence the teaching of information technology in high school, and holds the emotional state of high school students during the learning of information technology, as well as the basic situation of the high school teachers' usage of emotional factors in their teaching of information technology.Sticking to the teaching with emotions as a breakthrough point, and different from traditional ways of teaching knowledge and skills, this paper, from the emotional dimension, makes a theoretical interpretation of the strategy of optimizing teaching content, teaching methods, teaching evaluation and teaching and learning environment of high school information technology teaching. Despite of the lack of theory and practice of the emotional education in the current information technology education in secondary schools, this paper, form the practice of teaching, actively builds a high school information technology emotional teaching mode and puts it into practice, thus effectively stimulating and nurturing the positive feelings of students and improving the quality and effectiveness of teaching, and verifying the preliminary results of research of this paper in practice.
