Since 1984, information technology course teaching has developed from individual to universal, and accumulated a wealth of experience. But with information technology developing fast, searching for a suitable method of information technology course teaching is quite necessary. The level of learning IT that people need is different as the knowledge of IT they have is different. The more distinct the personality of students is the more exquisite the method of IT teaching is. So, how to know yourself and draw up a completed plan of teaching; how to know and manage students and teach them in accordance of their aptitude; how to create a new method of teaching; how to improve the quality and efficiency of IT teaching; are all the important points in IT teaching.EQ is the ability of realizing, adjusting and controlling the personal emotion. EQ is more important than IQ for our life. More and more people have known the importance of EQ. There are many teachers trying to find a good method of teaching to improve the EQ of students. But what these teachers do is from the view of students, and to achieve the goal of teaching by improving the EQ of them. This method of IT teaching isn’t effective because the object is only students, the content of improving the EQ of students is shallow, and the position isn’t important. Hence, how to use the knowledge of EQ in IT teaching isn’t paid attention to by educators, and the research in this field is less.This thesis based on the Curriculum and Teaching Methodology, not only applies the concept of emotional intelligence to the information technology teaching, but also introduces the related theories of management. From the perspective of teachers, the author uses the plan function organizing function、leadership function and innovation function of the emotional quotient management, to realize a systematic、comprehensive management and control of emotional intelligence in the whole teaching process, finally improves the quality and efficiency of teaching.To empirically studies the teaching theories based on emotional intelligence management the author raised, this thesis designs three teaching cases, named "Happy Information Lesson", "Information Safety", and "Audiovisual Technology". The results shows that the students’ learning interest and confidence have been further enhanced, the self-study ability and the information technology literacy have been increased clearly.Through the empirical study, this thesis finds that there are still several questions we have to pay attention to in the process of implementation. First, the teachers have to comprehend the management of emotional intelligence, through self-understanding、self-management、self-knowledge and learning the significance of others emotion and interpersonal skill to improve self-emotional intelligence, thus in preparation for the information technology curriculum teaching. Second, the teachers have to comprehend the management science, to achieve effective integration between emotional intelligence and management on the basis of the function and principle of management, applies the management of emotional intelligence to the information technology curriculum teaching. Before the information technology curriculum, the teachers should understand the students personality、hobbies、characterization of emotion and learning status, and establishes a friendly relationship between teachers and students. Meanwhile, the teachers should make teaching plans according to the information technology teaching goal made by Chinese Ministry of Education. In the process of the implementation of information technology curriculum teaching, through the teachers’ leadership, we can achieve the goal of maintaining and stimulating the students’ enthusiasm of learning, cultivating the students’ team-work spirit, developing the habit of lifelong learning, establishing a learning organization for information technology, and gradually revealing the innovative spirit.Last, the author summarizes and rethinks the problems existing in the current research, then proposes further improvement measures and prospects for future development. At present, there is little research and practice about emotional intelligence management applied in the curriculum teaching, hope this thesis can lead to more schools’and teachers’ attention, and more people can participate in the research and practice of the project.
