The Social Exclusion Underneath The Presentational Social Toleration Homosexuality Subculture Research In Thailand

On the base of positive investigation, the author took homosexuality in Thailand as the object of the research, the thesis discussed how the homosexuality was excluded underneath the presentational social toleration.The thesis found that the homosexuality in Thailand was tolerated by the community because of religion and economic factors, but there still exist an exclusive system behind the presentational social toleration. This exclusive system was made up of social relationship exclusion, culture conception exclusion and political exclusion. The interactions among them made the homosexuality excluded to the verge of the social structure.There are four parts in this thesis:Part 1: Expatiate the background, significance and intention of the research, and also, author give the connotation of concepts related to the research. At last, author introduces the method and the course of the research.Part 2: Author retrospect the literature related the research, review the form, development and application domain of the theory of social exclusion. And also, we review the related research of homosexuality in Thailand.Part 3: Describe the social toleration that homosexuality get from the community and analyze the causation from religion and economy. And deeply indicate that behind the presentational social toleration there exists an exclusive system, then analyze how the system was working by the interaction of social relationship exclusion, culture conception exclusion and political exclusion.Part 4: Summarize the conclusion that the homosexuality in Thailand was excluded behind the presentational social toleration. And as the exclusion the homosexuality get, author tried to point out some anti-exclusion policies. In the end, author analyzed the characteristic and limitation in this research.
