"Western Newly-built Teacher's College" is a special group in the field of Chinese higher education.The basic features are:geographical remoteness,a brief history,no advantage disciplines and the task for undergraduate teaching.The main force in this special group—young teachers,has attached great importance and caught attention from higher education workers.The key factor of the development of Western Newly-built Teacher's College is human resource,and the Most important issue and priority is the training of young teachers.The competition among colleges is mainly the competition for talent,and the reserve team in the talent echelon is young teachers.Based on educational theory and two levels of education and management,many scholars at home and abroad do a lot of researches.It is certain that the growth of young teachers will be based on the professional development,humanistic theory, adult learning theory and career theory.In the process of this research,using Literature research,interview,survey method and case analysis,explore and study the following issues:1.Describe the western region's economic and educational status.2.Analyze the strengths and weaknesses of young teachers and search for the law of the growth of young teachers.3.Taking Leshan Teacher's College as an example,research on the status of young teachers,and the factors, reasons and problems which can make effect on the growth of young teachers.4.Research deeply on the training system for young teachers in the western newly-built teacher's college. First of all,design the career well,treasure time,and upgrade.Secondly,make the chain among school, college and department.Thirdly,search for a pattern which fits for the professional development of young teachers.At last,refine the teacher's management culture under the concept of modern management.Through the research and analysis above,this research can be summarized in the following aspects:1.The reasons why young teachers grow slowly are the small population,poor transportation,little information,and undeveloped economy.The problem also dues to weakness of western newly-built teacher's college.2.Young teachers have both strength and weakness.However,the strength is obvious.Young teachers have three characteristics:young,highly educated and high expectations.Young teachers are independent and full of passion and innovation,but their professional role is not yet mature enough and their psychological are not sound enough.3.The growth of young teachers follows "Cycle law",so the development of college depends on the growth of young teachers.4.Young teachers should have their own sense of urgency and crisis,enhance their qualifications.5.The training of young teachers should base on their professional development,help them achieve a grade in their teaching,qualification and research,make the system of assistants advanced,practice "Deep Blue from Orchid Project" and build a management network for young teachers.
