CnotentrTaking PE teachers working in middle schools of Zhengzhou city as research object,using literature consultation,investigation,Mathematical statistics and other methods, this paper investigated and anglicized the PE teachers' information,teaching and researching state,Extra-curricular activities,further education background,salary level,mental attitude and other aspects.With the intention to get the PE teachers' conditions,find some existing problems and put forward some constructive proposals and countermeasures as well as to offer some theoretical basis,the paper has done more.The conclusion from questionnaires:1.There's a serious lack of Physical education teachers,some teachers are over-working.2.Young teachers take a large part,but sex ratio is skewed and high title teachers little.3.Professional constitution improper,track and field and ball teachers take a larger part.4.Low teaching and researching ability,teaching inputs and motive force is not enough.5.Most PE teachers focused on teaching and have strong feelings for further education,but they are not contented with salary level and feel unappreciated which lead to the result of their lacking confidence in career.6.Extra-curricular activities and after-class training is not stressed.To solve the problems mentioned above,this paper puts forward some instructions.1.Government should put more in education to improve the teaching and teachers' working and living' condition,offer allowance and uniform according to teachers law,sports law and Resolution to Further Strengthen Rural Education and other regulations and laws.2.Government should carry out lectures about the importance of PE for school leaders in order to improve their understanding of school PE teaching.3.To bring in and pay more attention to female PE teachers as well as perfect teachers' training system in order to improve PE teachers quality.4.Optimize teachers' constitution.Enhance teachers' salary(such as promotion,further education and allowance) so that PE teachers' activity and initiative is aroused.School should put class teaching and after-class teaching in the some position.5.Schools should supervise PE teachers with certain standards and evaluating systems and set up strict appraising system,rewarding and punishing system.6.Schools should carry out colorful educational and scientific activities and train up a number of backbone teachers.Furthermore,PE teachers' thoughts should be enforced,their knowledge structure should be enriched,and their teaching principles should be upgraded.
