The Study On The Improvement Of Mechanism About Alumni Resource Development Of China Colleges

The alumni are important resources to modern colleges achieve the sustainable development.The development of college alumni resources is an important means of acquiring the educational resources and opportunities for the development.Now,the development of alumni resource is still in the initial stage.The level of the development of alumni resources is restricted by a variety of factors.The direct purpose of this article is to explore the ways and means of development of Alumni resources through theoretical studies.This paper researches on the advanced experience of alumni resources development at home and abroad.We find that organizations of alumni resources development are being refined,the result of alumni donors is remarkable,alumni activities are more abundant and the level of participation is improving.However,the alumni resources development is still restrict by the facts of people,institutions,means and material support.In order to break through these difficulties,the alumni resource development must put these factors as breakthrough points:clients of service,content of alumni resource and means of resource developmentBased on the above analysis,this article deems it is necessary to improve the development mechanism of alumni resources from the four aspects:to definite the principle and philosophy of alumni resources development;to improve the organizational indemnity; thirdly,to improve the mechanisms of culture and communicationThrough the investigation to DUT,we find that there are a lot of problems in the development of alumni resources of DUT,such as less communication,information network system is not perfect,the Alumni Association does not play a full role,do not have a strong sense of alumni,lack of alumni services.In order to settle theses problems,we must to create the brand of alumni activities,start from students in colleges,promote alumni work with services for alumni,and optimization the management of alumni information,changes the mode of Alumni work.
