| The reform and development of higher education depends on high level and high qualified teachers.Research University construction is the priority of China's higher education. Therefore,the development of Research University not only should have sufficient funds and advanced teaching facilities,but also should have the first-class faculty team.So,higher request for the functional mode and comprehensive quality of research university teachers needs to put on the agenda.Job satisfaction of high school teachers is the attitude and evaluation of various facets of the job,that's to say,to what extent they like their teaching job,while burnout,a pessimistic mood,is a main factor that drag the job performance.So,it's significant and necessary to explore the problem on teachers' job satisfaction and burnout of universities,for doing that can make better use of the human resource in university,and upgrade the competitiveness of the university.The data for this study are collected from four representative research universities in China,including Tsinghua University,Peking University,Shan Dong University and Dalian University of Technology.300 questionnaires have been handed Out,and 212 effective samples have been collected.According to the data collected and after having been analyzed, the study got a modified job satisfaction scale composed five dimensions and a job burnout scale composed three dimensions.At the same time,some conclusions are listed as follows:The average job satisfaction level is quite high.The average job burnout level is quite low,which is correspondent with the job satisfaction degree.The difference on the statistics variances of subjects are manifested on age,education background,ground work, administrative function,working life,and all of the above mentioned variances have a signific(?)nt difference in terms of job satisfaction degree.While in terms of job burnout,only three variances of age,administrative function and working life have significant difference. Besides,the correlation analysis of each factor of both job satisfaction and job burnout give a result that the three factors of job burnout have a negative correlation with the five factors of job satisfaction,with a correlation degree up to 0.01.Then,regressive analysis is performed, during which the each factor of job satisfaction and the subjects are seen as the variances.The step regressive analysis of job burnout and its each factor,a prospect is foreseen: 1.The factors of salary and bonus,working environment,administrative function and the job itself can forecast the degree of job burnout2.The factors of working environment,salary and bonus,administrative function,the job itself,gender,interpersonal relationship,rank and ground work can forecast the degree of Emotional Exhaustion.3.The factors of working environment,salary and bonus,administrative function,the job itself,and leader management can predicate the degree of Reduced Personal Accomplishment.4.The two factors of salary and bonus as well as the ground work can predicate the degree of Depersonalization. |
