Information Technology has made profound and huge changes in many fields as an impulsive and revolutionary power in the history. The application of information technology has led to great changes in educational domain and spurred researchers to ponder over the value of information technology.View of Value in Information Technology is teachers'basic opinion about Information Technology. It includes fundamental faith and value tropism, which decides the thinking activities and external expression of teachers. Generally speaking, it has a forming process. Once it is established, it will possess a relative stability and generate a certain value tropism and steady behavior.In order to study the present situation about view of value in Information Technology of teachers in elementary and high schools, in the aspect of quantitative analysis, the thesis adopts questionnaires to investigate it and its procedure mainly contains establishing questionnaires, putting out questionnaires and analyzing result. In the aspect of qualitative analysis, the thesis adopts profound interviews through visiting teachers, which contains the following procedures: confirming questions, designing primary outlines of interviews, selecting samples, interviewing, recording, arranging and analyzing materials and analyzing results, etc.The thesis contains six chapters. In the first chapter, it introduces reason, meaning, general situation of domestic and overseas, methods of this study. In the second chapter, it interprets precisely the correlative notions such as value, view of value, view of value in technology, view of value in Information Technology. The following two chapters are the actual investigations by quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis. In the third chapter, we ensure the scientificalness of process on the structure of view of value in Information Technology in detail, and the scientificalness of process on the questionnaires. For the sake of rationality of questionnaires, we do item analysis, factor analysis, reliability analysis and validity analysis. In the fourth chapter, it concludes some typical view of value in Information Technology by interviewing many teachers and talking with them for many times. In the fifth chapter, depending on scientific view of value in Information Technology, it discusses the actualities about view of value in Information Technology of teachers by synthesizing the result coming from quantitative and qualitative analysis. Starting with these factors which influence value judgment, value attitude and value action, it proposes strategies in the light of these questions mentioned. In the last chapter it sums up the study from multi-angle, rethinks the shortcomings and brings forward some thoughts for further study in the future.
