With the improvement of the socio-economic structural reform in China and people's quality of life, their consumption patterns and lifestyle have changed and physical fitness industry have developed rapidly.As a vice-center of the Yangtze River Delta economic circle, Suzhou also is a city superior in economy, culture and sports,and fitness clubs here develope rapidly. In this paper, through a variety of research methods such as literature, expert interview, questionnaire and mathematical statistics and logical analysis ,investigation is based on the 11 managers, 56 fitness instructors and 426 fitness customers of the 11 commercial-type fitness clubs in Suzhou which have fitness equipments and group gym classes two items at least.Survey and analyze are based on four aspects such as the basic status quo, the basic situation of managers, fitness instructors and fitness consumers of the commercial-type health clubs.At the same time,attach much importance to the status quo development as well as the existing problems and favorable conditions.Then, put forward the development strategies for Commercial-type health club in Suzhou in order to promote fitness industry to achieve a healthy and stable development in Suzhou.
