the article 16 of"National University Sports Program teaching guide"issued by the Ministry of Education in August 2002 clearly pointed out that schools should plan and construct in accordance with"directory of University stadium facilities and equipment"issued by the Ministry of Education and the relevant provisions. Schools should create conditions for physical education curriculum to meet the actual needs, take measures to extend the period of using sports venues and facilities and raise the utilization rate of sports facilities in all counties. And Article 20 clearly put forward"it is an important way of courses construction to develop and use curriculum resources according to local conditions."which proves the importance of physical education curriculum resources.At present, the increased enrollment and rapid development of China's colleges and universities has brought opportunities to higher education, meanwhile many problems and challenges are also brought to college sports teaching. The survey, research, development and utilization of present condition of college sports resources have practical significance to enrich college sports curriculum theory, perfect the college sports curriculum, push the process of quality education, improve the quality of physical education, and make students aware of the importance of life long sports training. It is of important practical significance for the region's development and use of physical education curriculum resources and the promotion of the current physical education curriculum reform by the investigation and study of regional sports curriculum resources. Based on above resources problems, this article makes an objective, scientific research and analysis of the physical education curriculum of Colleges in Liaoning Province in order to provide help and reference for healthy and rapid development of the cause of Physical Education in Liaoning Province. Therefore, on the subject of Liaoning Provincial Colleges for the study and makes the following conclusions:1. The age and academic structure in Human Resources of Physical Education in Liaoning Provincial Colleges is more reasonable and suitable proportion of men and women. However, due to the increased enrollment of college and the relative lack of physical education teachers, the teaching task of physical education teachers is heavy, and sometimes can not guarantee to meet the new physical education curriculum requirements under the new curriculum reform.2. Under the party and the government's concern, college sports facilities for physical education in Liaoning Province continue to update and expand. School stadiums and other sports facilities are in higher quality; however it is hard to meet sports needs for the tremendous number of students brought by increased enrollment due to the objective factors such as the limited funding and campus areas.3. For various reasons, the human and material sports resources outside the campus have not been very good developed and used. Under the constraints of limited human and material sports resources in schools, the development and the use of social and natural environment, social stadiums, sports venues and other material resources as well as human resources outside schools don't receive much attention.4. College students in Liaoning Province generally believe that their physical education lessons have a positive effect on life. This shows that students have high recognition of the physical education and college sports education play its due role.5. Students spend less time on extracurricular sports activities, while female students are particularly serious. It shows that students don't have deep understanding of the importance of physical exercise and their concept of scientific fitness is still very weak.6. As the Olympic Games held in China, in the survey we are surprised to find that university students have a very high concern about the sports events, and their physical education curriculum thought resources are rich. However, in the comparison with the participation of university students in sports, we could find that although the university students pay a high attention to sports but spend less time in the practice of sports activities.
