Study On The Diagnoses Of Guizhou Traditional Ethnic Sports

Guizhou is a multi-racial and multi-cultural province,in which traditional ethnic sports remain well for the reason of the obstruction of economy and culture.On the other hand,the traditional ethnic sports also face challenges under the impacts of modern lifestyles.On the basis of varieties of document retrievals,field observations,questionnaires, interviews,and logical analyses,this paper studies the sports of 17 resident ethnic minorities,concluding their separate features,dividing them according to different standards,and further discussing the issue of their heritage and development.For better understanding,this paper cites four well-developing sports.Consequently this paper enriches the theory study of ethnic minorities in Guizhou province as well as provides positive practice instructions.The conclusions are as follows:1.The item of traditional ethnic sports is positively related to the population;the development of traditional ethnic sports in autonomous prefecture is better than another areas,for example,the miao nationality dong national minority autonomous prefecture of the southeast of Guizhou;but the development of traditional ethnic sports in the area where economic is flourishing relatively lags,for example, Guizhou and Zunyi;where persons qualified to teach in sport is good,there is good development of traditional ethnic sport;the southwest of Guizhou develops the worst traditional ethnic sport,where is poor with economy and culture.2.Guizhou traditional ethnic sports possess these following features: region,similarity,nationality,health-building amusement and artistry.3.Analyzing from the angle of physical education,this paper finds,among total Guizhou traditional ethnic sports events,that those sports presenting difficulty and beauty occupy largest numbers,wrestling sports with speediness and strength come next,and those with rivalry against net and resistance have smallest numbers.Classified by the sports forms,the majority of these sports belong to games and things alike.The numbers of dancing,wrestling,equestrianism and shooting are smallest,which is closely related to the nationality' scharacteristics and the geographical environments.4.From the angle of Folk studies,this paper concludes that 34 traditional ethnic sports are closely related to production folk-custom, which is 40%of these total sports.Other sports related to folk-custom have small proportion,with no great difference.Many such folk customs are far from their original state,with no distinct difference between them.Meanwhile,these folk customs are greatly influenced by today' s market economy and the mass media.5.The survey is that some traditional ethnic sports develops better, Some develops not enough well,and 23%traditional ethnic sports develops much worse,if there is no step to take,they will get close to disappear. cleaning up and dredging up these non-material cultural inheritances like traditional ethnic sports is able to develop traditional ethnic culture. put on the shelf is not end-point,but jumping-off point.Preserving is important,but developing is more important.
