| In this modern society with highly developed material civilization, people desire the physical and mental health and the demand for training is growingly available.This paper considers that Chinese Wushu is one of the world cultural heritages which can be able to meet the modern needs of community.Chinese Wushu,with a long history and traditional culture, learns from many Traditional cultural ideas and concepts such as traditional philosophy,moral philosophy,Regimen,military science and Chinese Medicine.And these ideas and concepts Guarantees that Wushu theory is rich in content and profound in implication,emphasizes the integration of External and internal,moral and art.Now,Wushu has got out of Asia to the world.People take part in various training and communicate with each other actively by international Wushu seminar.In my opinion,Wushu is a promoting art which will have more chances to communicate and develop.The purpose of this paper is to study the status of Wushu popularity in the Universities of South Korean,so as to supply basic data for the advancement of Wushu.In this study,the target is 176 college students who are taking Wushu training from 10 universities and 4 private Wushu training centers in South Korea 6 provinces(in which,these 4 training centers is the most popular among collage students).For 5 universities which open Wushu courses and another 5 which held outstanding"DongAri"activities in South Korea,this paper studies the Wushu activities in the present situation of management,material conditions,training factors,coach and trainers and finds its existence,the development law and impact factors.The conclusion is that Wushu becomes more and more popular,its target is to keep physical and mental health,and it is considered to be one of the lifelong sports.Finally,I hope that more active communication is available between Chinese Wushu and the other counties, and hope that Korea becomes one of the contributors who promote the Wushu globalization.
