Physics problem-solving has been of considerable obstacles for most students in senior schools , and actually what are the obstacles ? What are the causes of these obstacles? Can we take effective measures in teaching to overcome these obstacles? The answers of these questions are told in the paper.Three methods like literature method,survey method and data statistical analysis are used in this paper. According to information processing theory, the process of physics problem-solving is divided into four stages:representation stage of problem-solving, the building stage of problem-solving plan, the implementation stage of problem-solving plan and the evaluation and monitoring stage of problem- solving . For different stages of a specific,the author sums up a total of nine barriers to thinking: one-sidedness of thought disorder and loss of thinking barriers of representation stage; goal barriers , selective barriers, way-strategy barriers and flexibility barriers of the building stage of problem-solving plan; maths barriers and rational barriers of the implementation stage of problem-solving plan ; Monitoring reflective barriers of the evaluation and monitoring stage of problem- solving .the survey shows that there is a popular exist of thinking-obstacles in physics problem-solving among secondary school students, especially one-sidedness of thought disorder, loss of thinking barriers, way- strategy barriers , monitoring reflective barriers, rational barriers, and flexibility barriers .In these types of obstacles, 60% of students believe that they have a more than moderate obstacle.For different levels of various obstacles, the author analyzes the causes of the obstacles from the problem-solving process .They are imperfect cognitive structure; the lack of problem-solving strategies; inflexible thinking; weak metacognitive ability; psychological quality.Finally for these reasons, to improve the physical problem-solving ability,the author put forward five major teaching measures: to guide students to form a good cognitive structure; teach students effective strategies and methods of thinking; construct appropriate "problem icon -changing style" system; strengthen self-monitoring training ; Adjust mentality, cultivate positive emotions...
