21st Century is such an era that it brings us vigor and vitality, together with crisis and pressure, just as John. Neissbert points out in "great trend" that "we must learn to balance the technological material miracle with the humanity spiritual necessities". However, whether from individual's interest or. from exercise-inducing feeling, physical exercise affords a suitable method for people.According to the previous studies, the physical training is helpful promoting college students' mental health in some ways, because students can adjust their feelings, depression to enhance mental health and ease nervousness though physical training. This essay focuses on observing and studying the nine different dimensional effects of various physical training courses on the female college students' mental health and the varied effects of different training courses on the female college students' mental health levels of different gender. The female college students of the women' s university are chosen as the main target of this research and the major research content is the varied dimensional effects of various physical training courses on the female college students' mental health. The research is carried out on the basis of some experiment. In the experiment, the targets ---female college students aredivided into three different training groups according to theirinterests---body-building group, basketball group and tabletennis group. The three training groups are similar in training intensity and the same in the duration of each training and the number of the training every week. The experiment lasted for ten weeks and two measurements are conducted before and after the experiment.The results of this contrast study showed that all these three different training courses exerted certain influences on the mental health of female college students, only each training course would influence varied dimensions of the mental health in different degree. And those had distinct levels of mental health before and after the experiment. After the experiment, each training course has different influences on the mental health of different dimensional aspects. This research detailed the relationship between different physical training courses and mental health to different dimensional aspects of mental health and provides some reference for the effects of different physical training courses on mental health levels.
