The physical training is the bodily activity process, which achieves the goal of developing the body, improving one's health, enhancing physique, adjusting mood and abounding cultural life through utilizing kinds of sports methods with natural forces(sunlight, air and water) and the health measure. The physical training is important constituent of student's life in the university. The physical training not only promotes their health, but also affects their psychological health.When the World Health Organization (WHO) established in 1948, definition of the health is: "The health is a condition that physiology, psychology and society adaptation all reach perfection, not merely having no disease and weak condition. This indicates that it is not insufficient to only pay attention to physiological health and we must pay great attention to the psychological healthy too. Only this can enhance the activity of physiology and psychology. The students in the university is special community, they are facing more competitions, challenge, choice and huge pressure comparing with the contemporaries. Various universities must profoundly realize the importance and urgency of psychological health of students in universities. Strengthening psychological health education of students in universities is urgent need of roundly developing innovation talented persons, satisfying students to success and strengthening and improving ideological education of students in universities.This article utilizes Literature material, questionnaire survey, mathematical statistic and so on to investigate and analyse the condition of student's physical training and psychological health in order to find how to carry the physical training to promote the psychological healthy of the students in the university. The conclusion of the research process as follows:1. The manner of students in universities of Shandong is active to participate in the physical training; the motive of participating in it has remarkable difference during boys and girls. There is difference in the choice of the project. The majority of the students frequently participate in the physical training. Load of exercise is moderate for most students; The primary factors of affecting physical training are high pressure of study, the deficient location equipment, lacks of organization and laziness, having no will power and so on.2. The psychological healthy level between students of universities in Shandong province and all over the nation are on an even keel. There is no difference between them. The psychological healthy between male and female is in the identical level. There is difference during different grades and different subjects.3. Moderated intensities of physical training are better to psychological health than the great and little intensities. The effects of physical training in different time are dissimilar to psychological health, but there is not difference between them. There is not difference to psychological healthy between the students who do exercise in fixed time and ones who do that in not fixed time.The purpose of this research is to comprehensively make sense of the situation of the physical training and psychological health of the students in Shandong University and know about the relationship between them. With the result that the author further discusses how to carry on the physical training to better maintain and enhance students'psychological health in the university, in order to provide scientific basis for how to carry on the physical training and the development and the appraisal system of psychological health education in universities.
