As we all know, lifelong moral learning is an activity in order to develop the moral person. As a new trend in the development of moral education, lifelong moral learning is an essential requirement for the lifelong education lodged the morality; as the new thought of moral education, it is the construction beyond the predicament of moral education. Lifelong moral learning should be not only run through all the lifelong process, but also penetrate into people's lives in various fields, including school, family, social life, and all other field. For this reason, this article attempts to redefine the new meaning of the moral person, analyzes the property and the value of the moral person; on the basis of surveying the current predicament of moral education, and proposes that lifelong moral learning is the rational and feasible path to the moral person.This thesis studies the following questions:Firstly, this thesis summarizes the basic theories of the moral person, illuminates the connotation, the property and the value of the moral person. The moral person refers to the person who has the lifelong moral life, enjoys the universal virtuous life, and practices morals incessantly everywhere. There are three properties about the moral person for moral subjectivity, moral life and moral subsistence.Secondly, this thesis puts forward the predicament of developing path to the moral person. According to three properties of the moral person, through critical reflection to moral education, proposes there predicament about moral education in order to develop the moral person. That is the inculcation of traditional moral education, the lack of adult moral education, and the finiteness of moral education in schools.Thirdly, this thesis analyzes the reasons that lifelong moral learning is the rational and feasible path to develop the moral person. On the one hand, points out that the essential connotation of lifelong moral learning is autonomy, lifelong and omnitude; on the other hand, proposes that the rationality of lifelong moral learning consists in subject probability, lifelong necessity, and omnitude feasibility.Finally, this thesis discusses how to develop the moral person by lifelong moral learning. Mainly through three channels to accomplish. That is to improve the subjectivity of the moral person, to develop a self-constructed moral practice; to concern about the development of the moral person; to form a lifelong moral lifeline, to attach importance to relationship of the moral person, to construct the omnitude of moral life arena.
