The subjectivity of human being has become the current topic in China, a country in an era of great transition. In this increasingly changing society, only the people of subjectivity can better develop themselves and shape the world. That is, if one intends to gain the opportunity to subsist and develop, 'he is expected to put his subjectivity into full play; Likewise, subjectivity is required by modern society, whose development is empowdered by it.This dissertation proceeds from the reality of moral education-the state of "practice"; then it flows to the theoretical essence-thestate of "being"; afterwards it presents the prospect-the "would-be" state. Finally it goes back to practice so as to show how subjectivity finds its expression there in.It falls into four parts.Part I: Subject of Contemporary Moral Education. Human being is constantly at the heart of philosophical study. And the study of humanity, the study of human subjectivity in particular, is increasingly commanding attention. The highlight of human subjectivity is the natural necessity-be it on the part of history, reality or future. Thus subjectivity has become the priority either in philosophy or in other liberal arts. Subjectivity can be defined as a thinking - based actuation, a self - aware drive, a positive mental state of buoyancy, ambition, aggressiveness andpossibility. Such a good state calls for the cultivation of subjectivity in moral education.Part II: Frustration of Current Subjectivity Teaching. Nowadays, ours is basically an education of "obedience". In moral education, students are crammed with a lot of moral knowledge and doctrine while their subjectivity and participation is ignored. Consequently, they fall short of active guide in terms of moral judgement, reasoning and evaluation. And their moral attitude and feeling is overlooked. It can be said that the hope of moral education rests with the fully - awakening of student subjectivity.Part III: Subjectivity - Rebuilding. The so - called morality involves a heartfelt behavior, with moral feeling as the cornerstone of one' s character, and with moral wisdom as the pillar which renders one's conduct rational and appropriate. It is vital that in moral education, heed be paid to the development of both noble feeling and proper wisdom. And the key to them lies in perception, for the perception of moral value and moral sense of appropriaty is what moral subjectivity and moral self - discipline must depend on.Part IV: Subjectivity- Building Tactics. Subjectivity building can not be a castle in the air. Curriculum is a major approach and the set - up of curriculum is of great significance. The education of subjectivity is designed to build up their moral subjectivity and to develop their self-discipline. It is imperative we should develop their critical - thinking, self -awareness, we should develop their subjectivity, so that in social intercourse and practice they can actively realize, experience and upgrade then- moral ability.
