Food safety is an important basis involving the public health and the quality of life.Food hazards may not only bring about life-threatening health,but also lead to huge economic costs inciuding treatment,loss of working time,insurance payments and legal compensation.In recent years,food safety has been faced with severe situation,such as continuous appearance of food-derived diseases,damages of the environment and ecology,and factors of food safety from new technologies and techniques.Food safety is always one of the most important problems in the food chain,so every country constructs food safety regulations and standards.ISO22000 "Food safety management systems" gradually become the international standard,which was published by international standardization organization in September 2005.It is suitable for various organizations in the food chain,and dynamically combines HACCP principles and application of pre-requirements,which ensure the pre-requirements of hazards and common control of HACCP plan by hazard analysis.Implementation of ISO22000 authentication has the solid realistic foundation,and Government,enterprises,consumers and industry certification in China are positive to carry out it.With the development of higher education and continually increasing recruiting of college students,the situation of school repast becomes more and more serious.All levels of government and health,education departments attach great importance to food safety of schools and introduce various types of relevant laws and regulations, because food safety in university dining halls directly relates to the health of the teachers and students and stability of universities.With the gradual deepening of the reform of Logistics Socialization,innovations of system and management concept are continuously improved in University Rear Service.There are many Hidden Danger of food safety in university dining halls because of variety of raw materials,strong Ready-to-eat,complex process,variety of cooking methods,low controllability. Therefore,School leaders and dining department staff must ensure the normative day-to-day management of dining halls,guarantee food security and prevent collective adverse events.Implementation of ISO22000 in university dining halls has great reference function to effectively protect food hygiene and safety.Based on the research status at home and abroad,this paper attempts to analyse the Influencing factors of food safety management system and the differences among different management systems with the development of the food industry and food safety management system as the Basic Starting Point.Taking Qingdao Technical Collegen as an example,we investigated the feasibility of application of food safety management system in university dining halls,made specific implementation steps of ISO22000 and proposed corresponding suggestions.
