New curriculum reform will be achieved a historical change of our primary and secondary school from the subject-based and knowledge-based to the attention of every student's development, this can cause a far-reaching impact to the development of the basic education and even as a whole education of our country. New curriculum reform fundamentally shaken the original role of teachers'position, and asked the teachers to appear as researchers'stance on school's stage. Education and scientific research can be seen as the work of experts and scholars, and they are also very complex and very difficult for many teachers. Teachers should be aware of their own advantage to put the efforts into the education and scientific research.Through engaging in education and scientific research, continuously improving the research capabilities and the level of the front-line teachers, and promoting their professional development, has generally become the consensus reached by the education sector. Under this background, the article investigates on the actual situation of Fushun high school biology teachers carrying on education and scientific research. The survey results show that there are problems of high school biology teachers engaging in education and scientific research, and the main reason is the confusing of education and scientific research knowledge, the lack of problem awareness, teaching and education and scientific research will be separated as well, education and scientific research are expressed literally, and lack essential education and teaching theory and so on.In this paper, the author made a number of improvement measures for carrying out the education and scientific research based on the reality of the majority of the front-line teachers, and the author also tries her best to explore a practical way that is in favor of high school biology teachers doing in education and scientific research, and to help them become research-based teachers, including the necessity for a better understanding of education and scientific research, the cultivation of problem awareness, the study of teaching in close connection with education and scientific research will be carried out into action, the expression form of the research outcome is diversified, and learning essential education and teaching theory and so on.
