Classics are the essence of human civilization,and Classic Reading is an important way for the preservation of this human civilization.About Classics Written by Zhu Ziqing,Appealing for establishing classic schools for children written by the top nine writers including Zhao Pichu,Bingxin,Cao Yu and Xia yan,Outline of the Program for Cultural Development in the 11th Five Years promulgated by General Office of the CPC Central Committee and General Office of the State Council,and the National Curriculum constituted by Ministry of Education all make a point of reading classics.This shows that Classic Reading is of great significance for basic education and children's development.However,Classic Reading is a spiritual activity for the students,and they're mostly being carried out after class or outside the classroom.So we must use the appropriate carrier to express this spiritual behavior and make real and objective records.Only in this way can we evaluate it effectively.Traditional simplistic,but quantitative evaluation methods are static,utilitarian,highlighting the identification and classification of its functions,which neglects the students' variety of developments in personality in the learning process.Obviously,it can not be applied to the classic reading activity.The evaluation of Classic Reading requires attention to the evaluation process,and it should show the evaluation function of development and break the single form of quantitative evaluation and pay attention to qualitative evaluation.It should be dynamic,and facing the future development.It is necessary to highlight the role of the incentive feedback to promote sustainable life-long development for the students.Therefore,I select the " Portfolio Assessment" to try to evaluate.This article starts from the theoretical study of" Portfolio Assessment",on the basis of the existing research results.It explores the specific design kit and method of operation for Portfolio Assessment and its feasibility and effectiveness in Classical Reading,with a view to provide some useful reference for the evaluation and reform of Classical Reading.The article is structured as follows:The first part is an introduction to the problem described,the significance of research and research methods.The body is divided into five chapters:Chapterâ… deals with the contents,features and functions of " Portfolio Assessment".Chapterâ…¡expounds the theoretical basis of" Portfolio Assessment" from the following studies: The Theory of Multiple Intelligences,Constructivist Theory,Humanistic Theory and Post-modern Theory.Chapterâ…¢expresses the design of "Portfolio Assessment" in three ways:Determining the purpose of "Portfolio Assessment",selecting the main contents of "Portfolio Assessment",and setting out the evaluation criteria.Chapterâ…£is the implementation of "Portfolio Assessment",including the way of storing materials,self-assessment and reflection of "Portfolio Assessment",the display and exchange of portfolios.Chapter V discusses the feedbacks of "Portfolio assessment" in Classical Reading,including the effects,the problems and strategies for dealing these problems.
