| Teacher is the key factor affecting implementation of education reform and relative decisively to success or failure of education reform. For achieving the goal of education reform, it should concern the teacher's actual situation and provide many probable strategies to improve outside request of reform and inside change of teacher, thus assure of valid implement of education reform.Teacher resistance to education reform exists in the course of the education reform. The reflections on teacher resistance can make us examine the education reform. Solving the teacher resistance problem, education reform will be developed more smoothly. In this thesis, the author focuses on the state and the origin of teacher resistance, and then tries to explore countermeasures to eliminate it.The thesis takes Huai-an City as an example for these three reasons: Firstly, it is the epitome of the medium-cities in China. Secondly, my experience has offered fundaments for this study. And thirdly, the author cares about the teacher's actual situation in education reform.The thesis is divided into five parts.In the first part, the author gives reasons for choosing this subject. There is a study design according to the need of the research, including the subject proposal, the purpose and significance, the new ideas and methodology of the study and so on.In the second part, the author states all the studies on teacher resistance, and gives concept to education reform and teacher resistance, then states the kinds of teacher resistance and theories about it.In the third part, the author shows the result and analysis of this research: state and problems of education reform in Huai-an, then discusses patterns of teacher resistance in education reform in Huai-an.In the forth part, the author states all the studies on reasons of teacher resistance. Then from the goal of teacher resistance, the author probes the causes of teacher resistance in education reform in Huai-an city. The factors include reform decision maker, trainer, school governor and teacher himself.In the fifth part, the author states all the studies on strategy of teacher resistance. Then based on the reasons of the forth part, the author provides strategies to decrease teacher resistance. To overcome the teacher resistance, the key is that each subsystem in the educational fields to display their proper function and to prompt the education reform to succeed. |
