As a Pursuit on ideal teaching effect, scholars have been concerned on effective teaching all the time. The effective teaching is also one hot issue in the educational fields nowadays. The research objection of this paper is the theory of effective teaching which consists of four parts─the research history and research present situation, the research concept analysis, the induction of research practice and reflection on the research and the trends in the future about effective teaching.Part one is the research summary of effective teaching and describes the social background and research history at home and abroad.Part two explains the basic concept of the research on effective teaching and discusses theoretically related concepts, theoretical basis and evaluation standard of basic concept on effective teaching. In the history of teaching, such as The Babanski Teaching Superior Theory, The Ausubel Meaningful Learning Theory and Constructivist Learning Theory are the theoretical basis for effective teaching development. What is effective teaching? How to evaluate effective teaching? The two questions are the most fundamental issues of effective teaching evaluation and urgent to be solved. I believe that there are four effective teaching standards including the effectiveness of teaching objectives, the effectiveness of teaching content, the effectiveness of teaching process and the effectiveness of teaching results.Part three analyzes the practical instruction of effective teaching, with a focus on effective teaching behaviors. I research in three areas: the practical significance of effective teaching behaviors, the influencing factors of effective teaching behaviors and the strategies of effective teaching behaviors. Effective teaching behaviors can promote student learning and development and contribute to teachers' professional development. Many factors such as teachers, students, teaching content, teaching environment influence effective teaching behaviors. But the most important factor is teachers themselves. Finally, I design completely effective teaching behaviors strategies according to the three stages of teaching process (teaching preparation, teaching implement and teaching evaluation).The fourth part shows reflection on effective teaching and explores the trends in the future about effective teaching. In my opinion, there are both achievements and shortage during the research on effective teaching. Some issues and perplexities are put forward to reflect the deficiency of the research and prospect development trend of effective teaching.In this paper, the above four parts form a systematic system of effective teaching research, which order to clarify the relevant theories of effective teaching and provide reference for effective teaching practice.
