A Study On The Transition And Development Of Private Regular Universities

Up to the end of 2008, there were 44 Private Regular Universities .From 1 before 2000 years to 44 at the end of 2008, it can be said that the development of Private Regular Universities are striking quickly ,which has become an important part of general undergraduate education group. The emergence and rapid development of Private Regular Universities are due to the larger environment of higher education and the need of more proactive self-development and further enhance competitiveness. However, compared to the development trend of Private Regular Universities , its attention and research is far from enough. Especially, It is lack of research on how to deal with transition and do a good job in a positive and effective transition on Private Regular Universities which are at a critical period of transition. This thesis aims to start, and I hope that it can make some useful attempts on transformation study of Private Regular Universities.The transition of Private Regular Universities is not directly because of structural changes in the external environment, but mainly due to its own structural changes by the improvement of their school-level. It is a process of construction ,and also a process of transition to Private Regular Universities which change into a qualified undergraduate institutions from a Specialist colleges and form certain characteristics of application-oriented education.This time occupy a special place during the course of development, which is different from the development period of general sense , and the Universities are required to pay a great effort. So the research on transition and development of Private Regular Universities has a greater practical significance.In this paper, I will have inspection and analysis to the transition of Private Regular Universities by the combination study approach of the overall and case. And on this basis it must look at the rational.The first is to grasp the essence and connotation of the transition of Private Regular Universities; the second is to perspect problems during the transition of Private Regular Universities; The third is to know some of the key theories about the transition of Private Regular Universities. Finally, the thesis put forward some countermeasures and suggestions feasible at Private Regular Universities in transition on the response, mainly from the macro and micro aspects . On the macro aspect it need to do a good job on strategic choice and better grasp the rational principles of strategic orientation during the transition of Private Regular Universities and, that is, selective, position development and service competition. On the Micro aspect it need to have a clear run and the concrete steps in transition initiatives, such as the idea to carry out discussions, set application-oriented education; for school situation analysis, self-diagnosis and planning to do a good job; control center set up by the "experience management" to "scientific management"; construction in order to handle discipline, the focus of transition break; to strengthen the major construction in order to change in personnel training mode; clear phase transition and short-term goal, to do a good job of qualified construction Colleges; gather its own characteristics and advantages to build the core competitiveness.
