All long, college entrance examination is a very effective way to evaluate middle school education from both content and requirements for abilities. The new course reformation requests that"cultivate the essential geographical accomplishments for modern citizens"and"learn useful geography knowledge", so that the geography part of humanities test papers for college entrance examination (used by Sichuan province) have paid great attention to examine the accomplishments for map of students. Therefore, geography graph and chart system take up the theme status .This paper takes the geography graph and chart questions of the humanities test papers for college entrance examination used by Sichuan province since 2003 to 2007 as the research object, analyses the changing trends, styles, amounts, score values, and question types by literature method and statistics methods, try to conclude the characteristics of geography graph and chart questions of the humanities test papers for college entrance examination used by Sichuan province since 2003 to now, it also analyses the classic geography graph and chart questions of the recent papers for college entrance examination and the problems that teachers need to pay attention to when teaching students to read, draw and use maps, and try to provide reference for teaching and revision.This paper includes five parts, the first part mainly expresses the studying backgrounds, literatures and studying methods; The second part is about the theory of Geographical graph and chart in recent years; the third part analyses the changing of graph and chart questions of the humanities test papers for college entrance examination used by Sichuan province and the value of this study andclassifies the graph and chart questions; the fourth part is the brief analysis for different graph and chart system and classic questions; the fifth part analyses the problems that teachers need to pay attention to when cultivate student's accomplishments for maps(read. draw and use maps).
