Resource room teacher is the key person of resource room program, Has various personnel's anticipation. Because our country present learning in regular classroom is quite weak, what are the resources room teachers role? The purpose of this study were to identify both the school staffs'and the patents'role expection of the resource room teachers, and the difference between the resource room teachers'role expection and performance, including consideration of hindrance factors. A self-developed questionnaire were sent to 350 subjects to Beijin, Chichuan an Chongqing. Resulting in 306 respondents, 80% return rate. In order to make up the insufficiency of questionnaire survey, Inder to gains the complete material comes the depth excavation. the induction reorganization interview material, draws the research conclusion.The main results are as follows: The study indicated that there were differences amony the role expectation of the school staffs, resource room teacher and the parents. Each group list"the plan and the teaching","the administration and the support"and"the communication and the consultation"as the resource room teacher's most important responsibility, but"the appraisal with comments the quantity"and"the appraisal with transfers the title"is secondary. To sequence the inportmence of the resource room teachers'role, the order of the resource room teachers was the same as that of the administrators, whereas the order of the regular teachers was similar with that of the parents. On discussing the resource teachers'role performance, there was a higher performance level existed service. Resource room teachers'role exceptation was significantly higher than role performance. Resource room teachers of different areas, age, the general education age limit, the special education age had different role performance. Three of the major factors that affected role performance were as follows: A) Different special educational belief; B) Insufficiency resource of the resource room or not correct uses; C) Manpower insufficiency of resource room teacher or factor of Individual practical experience.
