Rural preschool education has been the weak link in the development of preschooleducation. As the carrier of the preschool curriculum, kindergarten teaches’ books play animportant role in the entire preschool education. So it is particularly urgent to investigate andanalyze the adaptability of teaches’books in rural kindergartens.There are a total of five parts of this paper. The first part is the introduction, includingformulation of the problem﹑the purpose and significance of the research﹑literature reviewand concept definition,etc.The second part is the design of my research, comparing two setsof teaches’ books, by content analysis,questionnaire,interview and so on. The third part is thecontent analysis, including structure types﹑preparation concept﹑content、goal setting andother aspects. The fourth part is the survey on applicability of teaches’ books in ruralkindergartens.There are mainly four aspects about the applicability: to rural children、to ruralpreschool teachers、to the conditions of rural kindergartens resources and to communityresources.Analysis found that there are varying degrees of adaptation problems on the twokindergarten teaches’ books:1.Rural children reach a low degree of target for many contentsout of their real life;2.Training for teaches’ books with inadequate coverage,and teachers arelack of professional attitude;3. Rural kindergartens can not meet the need of teaches’ bookswith a serious shortage of teachers、toys and teaching aids;4. Community resources have notbeen fully utilized, and low cooperation from guardians of children.The last part arecountermeasures for how to improve the adaptability of teaches’ books in ruralkindergartens:compiling special teaches’ book for rural areas, improving rural preschoolteachers’ professional attitude, speeding up the preschool education legislation andstrengthening the interaction between kindergartens and guardians of children.Only if we compile suitable teaches’ books according to special conditions of ruralkindergarten, and improve the adaptability of them,it can become a reality to promotepreschool edcation in rural area depth and sustained.
