According to the Science Curriculum Standard of Junior High School, teaching content and characteristic, learner's profile, and also utilizing the Constructivism Learning Theory, the Multiple Intelligences Theory and the Zone of Proximal Development Theory, we determined the basic principles of how to establish the interaction and inquiry teaching platform. Within the research scope from Grade seven to Grade eight, we collect curriculum resources which could be further used in teaching activities, selected and processed to form a curriculum resource repository. Finally a network platform was established using computer technology.In order to explore the interaction and inquiry teaching network platform's advantage and deficiency, we selected the chapter 1 and chapter 2 of the first semester of grade seven and grade eight to practice. Based on the online practice the functions of the system were improved, and the system contexts were adjusted. Thereafter, we hope to find a suitable way to carry out a subject teaching reform improving the learning efficiency, and also provide a reference of the teaching reform for other schools.After having the experience of scientific inquiry process, utilizing the curriculum resource, students can make a correctly self-evaluation, and learn the research methods. The network platform can also improve the communication between students and teachers. It helps to train students' ability of obtaining/processing information from the Internet, to raise the interest of learning science, and also to perceive academic self-efficacy, self-confidence learning and initiative."The Interaction and Inquiry Teaching Network Platform in Junior High School Science" includes the following three parts: teaching resources, students' self-rated module, and teacher-student interaction module. This platform is oriented to students, teachers and teaching administrators. In practice, the computer can automatically review schoolwork that reduces teachers' workload, while students can be told the quality of their schoolwork in time. It enables students to know a mistake and understand the reason. It can be used to assess students' learning situation and subsequently to obtain an accurate formative assessment to student. Reference to the examination records, teachers can evaluate how well the students master, what they have learned and thereby can carry out specific guidance to help students to clear up the knowledge misunderstanding. Most of the students enjoy this platform to finish schoolwork and actively involved in it. This new form will help students to recognize their own errors in understanding, which could be gradually corrected.Through the established network platform, teachers can display or demonstrate the teaching resources and learning materials in class teaching, which can be studied and analyzed by students independently, and finally the students can discover and further solve the questions under teacher's guidance. Those activities enable students to experience themselves as masters of learning, to cultivate and to improve their learning autonomy, as well as the abilities of discovering and solving problem.Using the Internet to show the production of independent study, not only enhance activeness to take part in teaching and learning activities, but also train students' oral communication skills. During the class teaching process, students gain a successful experience which will trigger a series of positive changes, such as improving students' perceived academic self-efficacy; improving the efficiency of the study; weaking anxious emotion; creating a harmonious atmosphere; and changing their passive learning into active learning.The results of studies show that the use of the network platform to carry out classroom teaching is not only the reform of traditional, and also is meaningful. Experimental class's academic performance was better than control class. The students in experimental class have a certain degree of enhancement at interest of learning science, perceived academic self-efficacy, self-confidence learning and initiative.In the progress of studies, three issues were encountered, which should be further studied and improved:1. How to solve the conflict between routine teaching and task research2. The quantity/ novelty of exercises and teaching resources still need to be further enriched and constantly updated.3. How to make better use of network platform to promote the students learning abilities, to form positive learning atmosphere, to enhance the quality of teaching of the school, particularly to improve the efficiency of classroom teaching.
