The paper try to establish a target system of object-orientation of running HEI that includ type, scale, level, characteristic, hierarchy, expected time, training and service-oriented, and demonstrate that "Harmonious " is a unification including coordination, diversity, difference, is a prerequisite for " position", is a state every HEI ought to be and a thought core of resolving the problem that is homogenization of object-orientation of running HEI. It embodies in three concretely aspects: 1st, internal coordination of HEI, 2nd, the coordination within higher education system, 3rd, the coordination with entire society system.On Analysis of "Project 985" HEI, HEI in Hunan Province, agricultural HEI category, the paper receives a conclusion that there are seriously problems in the homogenization of the object-orientation of running higher education institutions(HEI) in China. It is result from higher education system of inside and outside factor, which will be harmful for HEI characteristic to run a school; be difficult to satisfy the call for that society diversifies; lead to every colleges and universities duplication of similar projects; arouse structural unemployment of college students.In a word, based on the analysis of the problems in the homogenization of the object-orientation of running higher education institutions(HEI) in China , this paper try to investigate how establish a scientific and long effective object of running them, build a target system of object-orientation of running HEI, also put forward the guiding ideology of establishing the object-orientation of running HEI, and what role HEI, society and government ought to act and what function should play, on purpose to provide a reference to establishing a reasonableness object-orientation of running HEI.
