Background: It is the basis for primary and middle school students to get the proper nutrition for their healthy growing up. Also it is the premise to complete the extensive study for the students. Recently, under the best efforts of the goverment, nutritionist and the close coordination of the masses, the nutritional status of the primary and middle students has been improved constantly in China. The growth level has been fast enhanced. People have paid close attention to the issue of the students' nutrition. But there is a valuable notice that it still exists the non-balance about the students' nutrition. For one hand, the problem of the lack nutrition has not been solved (specially in poor area). On the other hand, it already occurs the bad situation to the organism because of the over nutrition and the lack of physical activities. It is the double challenges for us in nutritive project.It is verified that nutritional education is the important method to improve the people' nutritional status by many researches in China and abroad. It is the important way to direct people to choose the balance meal reasonably and establish the healthy life style. It is very significant to do the investigation and nutritional status analysis about nutritional knowledge, attitude practice in nutritive education. According to the module theory of K-A-P, It can be divided into three continuous processes as acquiring knowledge, producing faith and forming practice. It means that it can be transformed the bad practice towards healthy under obtaining the certain knowledge and getting some education. We should understand the nutritional status, nutritional knowledge lever and the influent factors of the conducted objects before carrying on nutritive propaganda education in order to design and begin nutritive propaganda education efficiently. Teenage time is the key period to the growth of the body and the brain. Rich nutritive knowledge, positive attitude and the correct diet are the keys to keeping the healthy . So, it is feasible to adopt the aimed nutritive propaganda education to improve the total nutritive level of the students efficiently through the investigation analysis and finding out the problem about nutritive situation, nutritive knowledge attitude practice.Objectives: To understanding the nutritional status, nutritional knowledge, attitude practice and current condition of Han and Mongolia primary and middle students, in Bayannaoer, Inner Mongolia and to provide the basis for making the relative nutritive intervention action.Research Methods: With stratified cluster sampling, choosing 710 students of four primary and middle schools in Linhe, Bayannaoer, Inner Mongolia and Wulate as our investigating object. Also doing the poll based on the self-designed K-A-P module. And adapting the method of weight-for-height to evaluate the growth condition of the students and deficiency was examined.Main Results: The total values of the nutritional knowledge, attitude practice of the students are 18.1±14.7,68.1±19.0,53.5±10.7, among which the score of nutritional knowledge is low. The differences between Han and Mongolia students have statistical meaning. The score of Han students is higher than Mongolia students (P<0.05). The attitude of the students for accepting nutritional knowledge is positive. But there are some bad practices such as partial eclipse, skipping breakfast and much snack. According to the height and standard weight condition, lowest weight, lower weight, standard weight, over weight and fat are 33%,35.8%,42.9%,5.7%,12.4%, The differences between Han and Mongolia students have not statistical meaning (P>0.05). By checking results of the lack of nutrition, some of the students have the different lack of nutrition such as photophobia,xerophthalmia,gum hemorrhage,caries,dermatoxerasia,keratosis follicularis,systremma,myasthenia,upper extremity and lower extremity numbness,anorexia.Conclusion and recommendations: Nutritional status of Han and Mongolia primary and middle students in Bayannaoer, Inner Mongolia is not optimistic. There are the lack of nutritional knowledge and the bad diet habit. While the students' attitude for accepting nutritional knowledge is positive. It is implied that it is feasible and necessary to do the aimed nutritive propaganda education. We should adapt many kinds of methods to guide the good diet and foster good diet habits. We should bring into playing the comprehensive function of school, family and society to totally enhance the health and nutrition level of Han and Mongolia primary and middle students.
