In recent years, along with the rapid development of our market economy, moral absence and lack of humanity spirit have been unavoidable problems for people, which focusing the community's eyeball, then the discussion of these issues is gradually flourishing up. Therefore gradually, educational research has also appeared in the new trend: reconstructing school culture, going out of definitive orbit of the traditional knowledge-oriented education, and achieving important influence of education on individual by healthiness and zoetic of the school culture. At the same time, as a sub-culture, the school culture is an important component of the social culture, reflects the basic spirit of the mainstream social culture, and could seletively accept, disseminate and criticize socio-cultural, so the regional traditional culture has become the fertile soil of building a school culture.Just as based on the above consider, the paper takes the Southern Jiangsu region as the example, pursues the weak or deficiency of the school cultural reconstruction nowadays, on basis of making the empirical investigation on status of the Southern Jiangsu region' school cultural reconstruction and deep analysis on traditional cultural resources (Wu Culture). And seeking the enlightenment from Wu Cuture with profound culture contents, it attempts to guide the Southern Jiangsu region' school cultural reconstruction and research the ways and methods of building new and characteristic Southern Jiangsu region' school culture, which making the Southern Jiangsu region' school culture adapt better to international and modern development trends, and providing new research enlightenments and development thoughts for school cultural reconstruction of our country, consequently training more qualified personnel adapted to the requirements of times' development, by using Wu Culture in the integration of school culture, especially the resources such as school-running tradition of academy, the family learning and tradition of distinguished families, popular culture as well as educational thoughts since from Ming and Qing dynasties.This paper consists of five parts: Chapter one is introduction part and proposes that it need integrate the regional cultural heritage resources in school cultural reconstruction, on the basis of summarizing the status of school cultural research at home and abroad and analyzing, describing status of the Southern Jiangsu region' school cultural reconstruction. Chapter two elaborates the traditional culture and educational value of Southern Jiangsu province, makes summaries of Southern Jiangsu' traditional culture and characteristics, as well as the origins of Southern Jiangsu' education and culture since from Song and Ming dynasties, and then deep analyses educational value of Southern Jiangsu' traditional culture. Chapter three discusses mainly theoretical conception of integrating region culture in school cultural reconstruction, and describes in detail how to integrate the traditional cultural resources on the theoretical level, from separately four aspects of spiritual culture, behaviour culture, system culture and material culture of school. Chapter four explains the several principles and attention problems of integrating the regional cultural resource in school culture construction. Chapter five introduces mainly case design of JiangNan University' school cultural construction,gives a detailed description about how to integrate the regional cultural resources in practice from four aspects of spiritual culture, behaviour culture, system culture and material culture of school.
