Quality education became the focus of attention throughout the community in the last decade in last century. Re-examine the education, re-examine the theory of classroom teaching as a new growth point. Many mew or old theory re-enters the stage, trying to give a new interpretation of the theory to education and the classroom teaching. Teaching democracy in the classroom is one of them.The democratization of education is the worldwide trend of the education reform, while teaching democracy is the essential demand of it. Classroom is the main channel to achieve teaching democracy.Teaching democracy is a social a social democratic governance in the teaching of philosophy, is a bright idea reflected in the classroom, is a management style that all members of the community in classroom instruction can participate in decision directly or indirectly, is a way to exchange experience freely and equally among members, is a way to unite life. It reflects as follows: teachers and students are all the subject in the classroom teaching, co-management classroom instruction equality at an atmosphere of friendship and freedom. In order to achieve the completion of teaching tasks, promote the individual growth of the common goal and interests. It expresses teacher-student relationship equality and helps each other, schoolroom atmosphere liberally active, education means flexible, the students should have a hand in acts on one's own completely and so on.Only where there is democracy in the classroom, there is lively and liberation of personality. Only democracy can play the persons' fullest potentiality. It can be said that democracy in the classroom is one of the most ideal "life" way.This paper discuss intension, base, expression form and necessity of teaching democracy and anlyses factors of influencing teaching democracy. According to the present teaching situation and characters, putting forward to carrying out method and tatics.
