Musical curriculum standard is an important core part in musical curriculum management. It is referred to so that some decisions can be made. Furthermore, the standard can be utilized to evaluate the goal of music coarses, education contents, books, and education quality. According to the standard, the administration or others can perform, evaluate, and supervise music education and development. The education goal can be arrived at by using curriculum management including decision, plan, organization, control, evaluation and so on. Due to the importance of both in music education, this thesis gives the definition, characteristics, and contents of curriculum management, as well as the content, reference values, and establishment rules of curriculum standards. Bom curriculum management and standards can improve each other and have a much important relationship. Due to Chininese situations, the music education has some Chinese charateristics. By using the ways, such as the investigation questionnaires, conversation, observation in classrooms, and paper, this thesis analyzes the problems in the current music curriculum standards and music management in China. The relationship of both is further analyzed. Furthermore, in this thesis, the management mode of the standard, the education situation, and curriculum management are discussed. To solve these problems to some extent, this thesis proposes some improvement advices. These advices may be referred to by music education workers in the future to improve the music education level.
