The Research On The Text Comparison Between Hong Kong University And Jilin University And Enlightenments

In these recent years, as the fast development of higher education, the government and university are searching for more valid management pattern,and the importance of constructing modern university system is gradually emphasized by people. The university statute,which is regarded as a bridge, is considered to be an important part of modern university system. Chinese universities have got good results in the aspect of establishing university statute in recent years, and many of them have already constituted statutes, however, there are still a lot of universities who haven't set up statutes, and one of the most important reasons why they didn't do this, was that they were lacking of the experience reference.In this paper, the author mainly applied text analysis and comparison analysis methods, and put the text of Jilin University statute and Hong Kong University ordinance as the study objects. On the base of introduction about the elementary theory of the university statute, the writer respectively compared and analyzed the texts of Jilin University statute and Hong Kong University ordinance in the following aspects: the statute structure and content, the body of establishing statute, the rights and obligations of bodies that are regulated in the statute, and the inner leadership system of universities, and at last got useful enlightenments, which could offer useful experience to Chinese higher university in setting up statutes.
