How to carry out inquiry-based learning in Chinese teaching in senior stage? How to correct the deviation in the process of carrying out inquiry-based learning in Chinese teaching? To solve the problems above I did some exploration about inquiry-based learning in Chinese teaching. By investigating the current situation of inquiry-based learning in some middle schools in Lanzhou, I found that there were some practical problems In my thesis, I pointed out the main points:Students'problems, 1.they are not very interested in Chinese inquiry-based learning, few people do it; 2.They haven't enough confidence to do it and have a feeling of awe; 3.They inadequate ability of cooperating with others, there are some barriers in communication.; 5.They pay more attention to fashion and ignore building up correct view of life and worth; 6.The process of Chinese inquiry-based learning often have fine start and poor finish. Chinese teachers'problems in senior schools, 1.They hold old-fashioned teaching ideas and can't play the part of Chinese inquiry-based learning; 2.They pay more attention to form and ignore effect; 3.They hold old-fashioned technology and knowledge; 4.The form of appraisal mechanisms are single. Local education sectors'problems: 1.Their supervision is out of date; 2.They are lack of teaching resources.According to this, I proposed some steps for practice: Chinese teachers'suggestions in senior schools, 1.Change old-fashioned teaching ideas; 2.Reform the role from narrating to leading; 3.Strenth students'conception of cooperating; 4.Cultivate their mind and lead their proper view of life and worth; 5.The process of Chinese inquiry-based learning must be fine start and fine finish; 6.Appraisal mechanisms must be reformed from single to colorful. Local education sectors'suggestions are to deeper the reform of the college entrance examination system to ensure Chinese inquiry-based learning, to strength the development of Chinese inquiry-based learning resources, to strength the management of Chinese curriculum and build up leader organization of developing it, to set up effective training pattern and improve the Chinese teachers'ability of dong research.
